Massage therapy is a technique used to alleviate tension and the buildup of lactic acid in the muscles, tendons, and ligaments of the body. Targeting the tissue that is strained or put under pressure due to certain movements in your day-to-day life or the high impact of being physical is key to unlocking this undue stress on your muscles and body.
Every action has a reaction:
Every action has a reaction the same applies to your muscle groups of your body. When one muscle group is contracting to make a movement occur another group of muscles is actually stretching to make the movement. You see this mostly when you’re working out in the gym or walking up a flight of stairs but the same thing occurs when you stand up from a sitting position or even when you are coming to a sitting position from standing. Your body is constantly in motion. Your muscles are constantly contracting and stretching even in the simplest of movements of reaching for a pen or even a pen stroke on a piece of paper.
